Principal Electrical / Power System Engineer (Remote – Work with UK Clients!)
We’re looking for a seasoned Power System Engineer to take the lead on grid connections, compliance, and network analysis for cutting-edge renewable and digital infrastructure projects.
This remote role offers the chance to collaborate with UK-based clients and make a real impact in the future of sustainable energy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grid feasibility studies & connection applications
- Energy capacity & congestion reviews
- Power system modelling (DIgSILENT, PSS E, PSCAD, ETAP)
- DNO engagement & regulatory compliance (G59/G99, G100)
- High voltage/medium voltage systems design, protection & controls
What We’re Looking For:
- MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years’ experience with substation and power system design
- Strong AutoCAD or similar CAD proficiency
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
